9 Pounds

Justice weighed 9 pounds this morning. That's up 6 ounces from last Wednesday. Yay! Tomorrow he has an Upper GI. Not sure exactly what they're looking for, I was kind of on information overload after JW's pulmonologist appoinment 2 weeks ago. It's something to do with his reflux though. The pulmonologist wants the upper GI and a swallow study done before we even start to turn his O2 down. We don't see the pulmonologist again until March 12, and hopefully then we can start weaning him of the O2. The doc said it should be about 3 months to get him totally weaned once we start. Which means he won't be off the O2 by April like the pediatrician had hoped. The swallow study is in 2 weeks and that is to make sure he's not aspirating any milk and damaging his lungs. If he is we'll have to feed him by bottle and thicken his milk. We don't want that. He likes getting his milk from the source and it certainly is a lot less mess, no bottles to wash. ;)
