Two Steps Forward, One Step Back

Justice is back on the oscilator. The settings on the regular vent were just too high. So they are trying to get him stable and wean him back to lower settings so he can go back to the other ventilator.

He does have an infection and while we wait for more specifics, it is being treated with a "broad spectrum antibiotic." Once the cultures come back they will hopefully be able to treat it more specifically. His blood cultures didn't grow anything but the cultures from the swab of his ET tube are growing "something", just don't know what yet.

His feeds have been suspended for now so his little body can just focus on one thing at a time. When they start feeding him again, he'll have to start all over at 1 mL.
