JW's 4 Month Check Up
JW had his 4 month well baby visit today. He's 8 lbs 3 oz and 20 inches. He kind of hit a plateau on his weight after coming home and then when he had RSV he actually lost a few ounces. But he's been eating non-stop the past week or so, at least it feels like it, and he's up 10 ounces from last Tuesday. Hopefully he continues to pack on the ounces. He's not even on the charts for a 4 month old, but I didn't expect him to be. The nurse tried to be nice and write on his sheet that he was in the first percentile, but I asked the doctor if that was right and she said no, he's not on the charts yet. After all, he's only supposed to be a month old. However, developmentally he's more like a 2 month old. Yay! Dr. Wallace tried to turn his O2 down today, but he didn't like it so much, so we turned him back up. She told me to try again next week. Her goal is to have him off oxygen by April. He sees a pulmonologist next week, so we'll see what he says about JW's O2 requirements and what his expectations are.

Praise God. Maybe he will be off
O2 by the wedding. Love to all.
