3 Sleepy Blakey Babies

Kota went with Daddy and I to the NICU to see Justice tonight and, as usual, fell asleep in the car. She woke up when we got there and was grumpy, then promptly went back to sleep on the bench in Justice's room.


Meanwhile, Georgia opted to go with Grams and Hollie to get some frozen custard. She fell asleep in the car and is now sound asleep on the couch.


And of course this little guy was asleep too. He had a rough day. He was pretty worn out from working so hard on the nasal cannula for 2 days so he was put back on CPAP today. Then the staff ran all sorts of tests making sure he didn't have an infection. He was so tired they decided to put him on IV nutrition for the night and let his little body focus on just breathing. He was looking around for his 8:00 syringe of milk though. I gave him his pacifier and he went to sleep.

The doc is thinking this is just a small rebound effect coming off the steroids and hopefully he can be back on the cannula soon. At one point today they thought he may have to go back on the vent, but thankfully he settled down and is quite comfy on the CPAP.
