Update

Not much new to update. Well, maybe. Justice keeps sitting on his cord causing his heartrate to drop so he's been on 24/7 monitoring for the past week. Some days it's ok, some days it's annoying. Especially the days when he's either constantly on his cord causing the nurses to come running in to roll me over and give me oxygen to saturate my blood to help him, or when he just gets plain tired of staying on the monitor so he moves all the time causing the nurses to come in and find him again.

Had our weekly ultrasound today and the fluid level was 3.1. So it was up a little from last week, but still lower than it was our first 3 weeks in the hospital. Other than his low fluid, he looks great. He scored a 6 out of 8 on the biophysical profile. Perfect score for movement, breathing and tone, but 0 out of 2 for fluid level.

Dr. M says Justice's lungs look good. At this point there's only a 10-15% chance of pulmonary hypoplasia, meaning his lungs are being compressed from the lack of fluid and not developing. The doc said that was very good news.
